Environmental
BKM is dedicated to enhancing operational performance through the efficient utilization of energy, water, and materials. We are strongly committed to conserving natural resources at both the corporate and investment levels by implementing comprehensive energy management programs and environmentally-conscious management practices.
Social
At BKM, we have a strong commitment to fostering a positive culture and community for our investors, tenants, and employees. We achieve this by dedicating time and resources to developing our talented individuals, creating a work environment that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion, and encouraging volunteerism and charitable acts throughout our workforce.
Tenant Relations
BKM hosts tenant appreciation events to promote the comradery of the local community and businesses. Being in the light industrial space, our assets are comprised of many mom & pop businesses as well as a mix of larger, more-established companies. This provides an opportunity for smaller business to connect and partner with their local neighbors.

Community Relations & Philanthropy
BKM supports initiatives that benefit the communities, environment, and human welfare through a robust Charitable Giving program.
Through our BKM Volunteer initiatives, we set out to make a difference in the communities in which we work and serve. We provide 16 hours of paid volunteer time for every employee each year and in the first half of 2022, 24 BKM team members volunteered to support Beyond Blindness, Child Creativity Lab and Project Hope Alliance.

Employee Health & Well-being
At BKM, we are committed to the health and well-being of our employees. Our initiatives include corporate-sponsored pickleball and basketball leagues, team tournaments, and a variety of other wellness events throughout the year. We support physical health by encouraging healthy habits, providing ergonomic office furniture, and offering nutritious snacks. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) enhances mental health with resources such as counseling, stress management training, and family support groups. We foster a positive work environment through open communication and community-building activities. By prioritizing employee well-being, we reduce absenteeism, boost productivity, and attract top talent. Additionally, we promote sustainability by encouraging eco-friendly practices and extend our culture of wellness to our employees' families and local communities.
